Westminster-St. Paul's Presbyterian Church
Description
Westminster-St. Paul's Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Our beliefs reflect the historic Christian faith and the Protestant Reformation. Our worship is traditional. Our fellowship is warm. Our Sunday attendance averages between 70 and 80 people. For a congregation of this size we are quite active, with three study groups, a Sunday school programme and staffed nursery available each Sunday, a choir, as well as various groups within the congregation engaged in outreach and service ministries. In the summer we have a half-day VBS week, and every third Wednesday, September through May, we offer a midday meal and devotion geared toward seniors. Various community groups ranging from AA to TOPS, to Brownies, to the Guelph Male Choir also make use of our fully accessible building.

EXCITING NEWS: Westminster-St. Paul's is partnering with Kortright Presbyterian Church - Guelph, as well as the Presbyterian congregations in Rockwood and Eden Mills to settle a refugee family from Syria in Guelph. "Our" family should be arriving in March, and consists of a Dad, a Mum and two girls, ages 6 and 4. The most urgent need is for volunteers who can help the family get settled in their housing, and get oriented to life in the community. Police checks are needed for all volunteers; forms can be obtained through the church office. There is an info night at Kortright on Feb. 17th where more of the details will be outlined.
