facebook.comI would like to introduce ourselves, Nicole and Glenn Petersen, as the new owners of Latimer's Cleaners. We have been coming to the area for 13 years with Glenn doing carpet and upholstery cleaning for Joe and Lucie Pal at the Ivy Lea Club. From the first moment we arrived in Gananoque, we knew it was the place to satisfy our love of fishing. Over the years, we have been coming more frequently and in 2013 we purchased an RV trailer at Misty Isles Lodge on the Thousand Islands Parkway, where we spent most summer weekends. When Frances Casson of Nadeau Realty told us to think outside the box and presented us with the opportunity to purchase Latimer's Cleaners, it was like a light bulb went off. This would enable us to move to the area full time and run the business as well as promote Glenn's carpet and upholstery cleaning talents. Kathy and Larry Scott made us feel very welcome and had no hesitation in teaching us the business and introducing us to their customers. Since we took over the business at the end of October, everyone has been so nice in welcoming us to Gananoque and we really appreciate it. I know the town is in need of a dry cleaner, so we will continue to run Latimer's as Larry and Kathy did, with the added convenience of offering carpet and upholstery cleaning services.
