Nak'azdli Recycling Depot
Description
Nak'azdli Recycling Depot is a drop off centre for your recyclables including plastic! Starting May 19, 2014 businesses that supply packaging and printed paper to BC residents will be responsible for collecting and managing these materials so they can be recycled. Multi-Material BC (MMBC), a not-for-profit organization working on behalf of these businesses, will be responsible for residential recycling programs in many areas across BC, either directly or by working with local governments, First Nations, private companies and not-for-profit companies.

facebook.comGood morning!! Just to let ya'll know, we will be closed tomorrow SATURDAY Feb 10th for the Family Day STAT!!
Hi all! I Attempted the Nak'azdli pick ups today and honestly couldn't see ANYTHING! The snowbanks are too high and the bins are all plowed in. Very sorry for the inconvenience if you tried to put your recycling out. It also may take us a while to get into the depot this morning as our gate is buried. *sigh* can't we all just have a snow day?!?!
Get them blue bags out Southside!
Today is North Side of Nahounli Creek! Get them bags out (and please do put them on the snow bank so I can see them!!!)
North of Nahounli Creek, GET YOUR BAGS OUT! it's your day! and please do make them visible from the road. All this snow has made it really tough to see bags! you can even place them on the snowbank! Thank you!
South Side! Get them blue bags/bins out to the curbside! And make sure they are visible as it's hard to see with the snow banks! and also securely tied! Thank you and have a great day!

Battery day for James and I️ ! This is how we have to do the button batteries; very tedious work indeed!
Hello Everyone! Hoping everyone had a great New Year celebration. We have once again had our deposit bottles stolen. This has happened SEVERAL times (people are actually jumping the fence and hauling off what they can -we don't have much on hand since we don't actually accept them here) which makes it even worse that someone goes through the trouble to do that for a couple of bags. I have also had my own personal Dewault drill stolen. This is very disheartening. We do not have a large budget out here (which isn't even the point) it's making me feel uneasy to know people are just coming in and taking what they please. I'm asking the public to please glance over on days we are not open/after open hours (like if you're going to the dump) to see if you notice any suspicious activity. If our gates are closed there should NOT be people inside the fence. Give me a call if you see anything or know anything ! 250 996 4066
