Making dreams a reality

I am determined to make a life long goal of mine happen. I feel I have truly been put on this earth to make a change and God has a plan for me. I have never been more determined then now to make this happen. I am asking for my friends and family to search deep within your heart and think about any and all contacts that you may have that would help invest and fund what I feel God has been planning and guiding me to do. I feel the life lessons and mountains I have been faced were just my Training grounds to build me up and make me the person I have become so I can take on this task he has given me. IT IS HUGE. Nothing simple or light about it.

With that I would like to announce The BK Foundation.

THE BK FOUNDATION provides hands on interaction with children and adults with different disabilities. Each individual and disability will be looked at and evaluated one on one to determine the best therapy and course of action that is needed with each one. They will also learn to care and love something that is living and dependent on them as well. This will include for some horseback riding as well as grooming and equine based therapeutic sessions to those in need (ages 3 years and up) that rehabilitate the mind and body while interacting and caring for horses as well as other animals. Animal and Equine-based therapy has been shown to improve the quality of life for those experiencing developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges as well as those experiencing delays in physical and intellectual development.

I have a full business plan to present to anyone that is wanting to meet and go over it in more detail or has any questions. It is going to take a lot of love and money, huge investments from business' and individuals alike.

The buildings alone for the facility and covered arena are over $1million.   We have aquired the property and funding that on our own with a personal loan.   Now we need funding to get the rest of everything off the ground including staffing.

We will be different than others in the fact that we will be seeing both children and adults with different physical and social disabilities.   We will also be mixing a variety of activities with various animals and horse equine therapy based on that individuals needs and what will work best in their situation.   We will work with entire families of the individuals so that they may be a part of their journey and experience.    In time and with funding we would also like to build living quarters to home 10 to 20 individuals at a time based on their disability to run a camp like center for them to be able to partake in a 24/7 ranch type environment.  

The BK Foundation will employ individuals to insure that the care is our top priority for both the animals and individuals in our program.   This will include but will not be limited to Licensed Family Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Veterinary Staff, Horse Experts and trainers, as well as Volunteers that must go through a training process and pass for the programs.
