The Conservatory is Alberta's oldest cultural institution with an established reputation as a centre of excellence for classical music training.     The Conservatory of Music gives students of all ages and aptitudes the opportunity to develop and explore their musical talents. From music in early childhood to advanced theory and technique; from ensembles performances to one on one coaching for passionate or professional musicians, the Conservatory of Music encourages students to recognize and realize their potential. We offer lessons, workshops, and classes for classical, jazz, pop, and musical theatre styles.

Learning music can be an amazing tool to support our own well-being and the well-being of others. Listen to Jim Lowther's touching story about how playing guitar supported him navigate his experience with PTSD. Through his organization, Guitars for Vets, volunteers have arranged donations of more than 800 guitars and set up music lessons as a type of therapy for veterans suffering from stress-related issues. Music does make a difference!
