In 2017, the EPS has made 1038 impaired driving arrests. This is more than 3 people a day. Today, MADD Edmonton has presented the Corporal Graeme Cumming award to three EPS members for their work stopping impaired drivers in 2017.
Mayor Don Iveson and Edmonton’s emergency services have come together to join MADD for the launch of Project Red Ribbon. Mayor Iveson has proclaimed November and December as Red Ribbon Months. Wear a Red Ribbon to show your support for victims of impaired driving and promise to never drive while impaired.
