Description
Westview Stables is a Equine Boarding and Training Facility located just North of Durham ON on Highway 6. Westview Stables offers boarding and training facilities for your Equines. With large barns to house 20 horses, outdoor sand ring, grass ring, round pen, grazing pastures and access to 86 open acres and 300+ trails we provide all that any horse owner could need. And with an indoor riding arena for year round comfortable riding and training opportunities.
With accomplished trainers on site we can, back horses, provide game specific training or simply give your equine partner a tune up. Our facility specializes in problem horses.
All our horses sold and trained are trained around our on site cattle herd, to cross water and be road safe for the riders enjoyment.
West View Stables is currently taking on a limited number of boarders to our equine facility.
Our facilities include;
* Over 300 acres of trails to ride
* Round pen
* Large outdoor sand ring
* 60x120 Indoor Riding Arena, excellent footing, lights, parkinglot.
* Trailer storage
* Large grass riding ring
* Large property fenced paddocks with run in shelters in each paddock.
* Trailering available to local and large horse shows and clinics.
* Two Trainers on site and outside coaches welcome.
* Western and English disciplines welcome.
Board is $250 per month, includes hay 2 times a day and water 24/7 with run in shelter in paddocks.

We love hearing how the horses and riders are doing at Westview here what's Lauren Dean had to say; These two are doing pretty good :). Tuffy is being a super star part way through his 60 days training at Westview with Ashton Paylor - Mallard. And Kylee is just working on some confendence and learning how to work her pony on the ground. They are a cute little team!

Last spring we held the Emergency First Aid Course at Westview. We highly recommend the course to anyone that has horses or livestock.

The last few days we've been pretty busy showing horses forsale and working the ones we have in for training. I wanted to share this photo with everyone, its approximately 18 years old. Notice the chestnut mare Ashton is riding, that's Cactus. Cactus is Rains mother, who Ashton now competes on. Great memories with my cousin Lindsey Clark. Sure do miss her and those days!

Some exciting new additions to the facility here at Westview Stables. New Barn, complete with 18 stalls, 3 Tack Rooms, Wash Bay, and more to come. With the stalls attached to the arena, foul weather will never stop a ride. A very rustic feel to the new build.

"Chex" found this forever home today after two very nice ladies came from New Lowell to ride him. They are looking forward to many, many years with him and we couldn't be happier. Chex is the left horse in the photo.
