Well in case you haven't heard--we have sold the bed and breakfast !! The new owners ( who just happen to be family) are moving in at the end of the month and will be using it as their private home. And by the way the new lady of the house just happens to be the cookie lady-Custom Cookies by Holly. Jim and I have had a fantastic 14 years meeting people from all over the world and extending Deloraine Hospitality to everyone who stayed with us. The list of countries where people were from that visited with us is quite amazing and extensive: England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Australia, Japan, Korea, Libya, Kazakhstan, Italy, South Africa, South America and all across the USA and Canada. We have enjoyed meeting and visiting with them all. We thank all the citizens of Deloraine for your support over the years and we were extremely honoured to be nominated for the Westman Award for Service Excellence--which we won in 2010. Also like to thank the Deloraine and Area Music and Arts festival group and the Southwest Showcase organization for allowing us to play hosts to all the adjudicators and entertainers over these many years. Jim and I and Marina Potter and Lorie Tulk also had fun serving the groups who we entertained in our tearoom. Some of them became yearly, monthly and weekly visitors. And many became lifelong friends. We hope you enjoyed your time there as much as we enjoyed having you for meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, funeral and wedding lunches and of course the many Christmas Parties. We will still be available for catering services--so if you have a special event planned please give Country Garden Catering a call at 204-747-3058.

Well the wonderful ladies from the Deloraine Crown Jewels group had a fun evening at the tearoom. They even got serenaded by our bed and breakfast guest.

Deloraine Crown Jewels had a fun night at the tearoom. They were good sports while participating in a challenging game of eating their meal with very odd utensils. Then they all enjoyed the visit from Prince Charming who gave them each a "kiss" and a "50 shades of Grey " specialty cookie.
