Government Building

Description

ad

Crossfield is one of the smaller communities in the Calgary Region, but its manufacturing activity (steel columns, beams, and joists, furniture, banking machines, oilfield and industrial equipment) competes in the big leagues.
In recent times, the community has experienced significant residential growth, a testament to the community’s wealth of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, including the historical Pete Knight Memorial Arena and popular local golf course.

Chief Ben Niven: Hi everyone if you got a message today from the Crossfield Emergency management group it was a test of the new system that we have started. The system will be used to notify residents of various emergency management events taking place in town. All residents with a listed phone number in the phone book were automatically added to the system. If you would like notification through email or text, please sign up at this link: http://bixocontact.com/apps/Anonym/InterfaceAquisitionPublique/default.aspx?TooteloGuid=36cb2c4c-156c-40e4-832e-50fb68c740cf&BureauId=3328&Lang=EN. This is to let everybody know if there is an emergency in the town limits. If you received a phone call today, it was not a scam. Thank you
