Holy Cross Elementary School seeks to initiate learning experiences for students that are challenging, purposeful, comprehensive and meaningful. Holy Cross Elementary school is Cold Lake’s newest Elementary school, opening during the 2007-2008 school year. We are a Christian community who promote the Catholic faith and values through religious classes and a faith-permeated curriculum. Holy Cross Elementary School is a “Tribes” school. No School for staff and students on Friday, May 19 and Monday, May 22. There will be cheese pizza provided for all students on Tuesday, May 23. Each students will receive 1 slice of pizza. Muffin Morning tomorrow, May 9. Mrs. Lendvay's Grade 4 class, Mme Sarah's Grade 1 Immersion class and Mme Amy's Grade 3 Immersion class providing muffins. Muffins are 25 cents each and will be sold at morning recess. All proceeds to go buying birthday books for students.

Our students are busy preparing for their exciting performance with Evergreen Theatre on Friday, April 28. We hope you can join us in celebrating this event! We would like to thank Alberta Foundation for the Arts for this wonderful opportunity for our children to take part in an arts-based learning experience!

We are celebrating our volunteers on May 2nd. If you have volunteered at Holy Cross this school year, please join our Assembly, followed by coffee and treats served by Youth Ministry.
We still have FREE Kids tickets for the RCMP vs Fire Charity Hockey Game on April 22nd. Please pick up your tickets at the school office or send a note with your child letting us know how many tickets you need. Please note that these free tickets are for KIDS only. Adult and Youth tickets need to be purchased separately by calling 780.594.3302 ext.0
