facebook.comSomebody recently said to me, 'small dogs can't be trained very well'. I know a lot of small dog owners and small dogs that would strongly disagree with that statement. ALL dogs can be trained, you just have to educate the owner and give the owner the skills to train their dog. :)

At On Target we always have people asking if they can enroll their puppy into our agility classes and we tell them 'sorry no'. We advise people that there are many skills and exercises we can teach your puppy that does not involve jumping or the other equipment to prepare them and the handler for agility. And we explain why we don't allow pups under 6 months of age to enroll in our classes. This is often the answer they do not want to hear. This is a great article regarding one of the reasons why we don't start training pups too soon for agility (or any other dog sport). https://www.dogworksfitness.com/single-post/2017/12/28/The-1-and-2-common-injury-factors-for-puppies---and-its-not-just-about-hips-and-elbows
Students: Please check your emails BEFORE coming to any classes this winter. We will try our best to notify everyone as soon as possible but sometimes we don't have that luxury. Thanks
Due to the cold temperature advisory issued for this week, all agility classes are cancelled. We will not take the risk of harming our dog's lungs in this very cold weather because the arena is not heated. All Obedience classes will run as scheduled in the heated smaller building. Thanks for your understanding on this matter. Lynn
Due to the extreme cold temps, the trial is cancelled for both days this weekend.
Lost dog Colborne, keep an eye for him/her (doesn't say).
