Description
The Cobourg Highland Games is held at Victoria Park by the Cobourg Highland Games Society. This 17th of June 2017 will mark the 54th annual games. A Cultural Family Festival Celebrating everything Scottish and Celtic. Dozens of Professional Pipe and Drum Bands compete for points and prize money to be able to compete at the World Pipe and Drum Competition in Scotland. Highland Dancers will be competing under the Ontario Highland Dance Association and the Heavy Events competition will host a variety of competitors. Many Scottish and Celtic vendors will be selling their merchandise and Scottish fare. Entertainment ranges from theater to musicians.
