The 2017 Coveside Classic is proud to have introduced an annual Mary Henry Pony Trainer Award, to be awarded annually at the Coveside Classic to the most successful pony coach/trainer selected by the Organizing Committee. Named in honour of the amazing Mary Henry, who has trained generations of pony riders in the Maritimes, many of whom have been young champions and successful adult riders. For the first year, the award was presented to none other than Mary Henry. She is pictured here with Brianna Patridge and Centre Ice, Rhyan Rusaw with Tri-Star and Ironman, Ty Oulton and Olivia O, Maddy Fleming and Dreamworks. Testament to Mary's skills, all of these young people have done extremely well at the 2017 Classic, sweeping the Small, Medium, and Large Pony Championships! Also pictured is presenter Raye Potter, who entrusted several children and grandchildren to Mary's tutelage, and our 2017 Hunter Judge, Kim Kirton
