Description
We have a 175-head herd of bison on our ranch. We also sell a wide range of cuts of quality bison meat. At Central Plains Bison, we have been farming bison since 2000 on our ranch located south-east of St. Claude, Manitoba, Canada. We are about an hour west of Winnipeg, 40 minutes south of Portage la Prairie and an hour and a half east of Brandon.
Jamie, a pipeline welder by trade and Bobbie, an elementary school Principal, operate the 175-head herd. We sell our meat off the farm year-round.
Our meat is all government inspected and vacuum packed. We do not use any antibiotics, growth hormones or steroids on our animals so we are proud to say that they are 100% natural.
We look forward to serving you quality, locally grown bison meat.

What's on the menu at your place tonight? Spaghetti is it here. Here's my super easy recipe for pasta sauce... 1 lb ground bison burger 1 onion, chopped 1/2 green pepper, chopped Fresh mushrooms, chopped Add Italian spices, salt and pepper and fry up! Add one jar of pasta sauce and you're good to go! I use this same recipe for my lasagna. Feel free to try it!

To all of our Winnipeg customers... You will be able to get our ground bison burger at the Red River Ex market. Windy Lake Farms is carrying our product for the season. It comes vacuum packed in 1 lb packages. The market takes place near the Ice Plex on Saturdays from 9-2. Please feel free to share this post!
