One of the oldest buildings in Canada (built of hand carved stone), recently restored and converted to a Restaurant & Theater. “Stone Jug” premises, is one of the
oldest existing buildings in North America and a landmark for the Town of Carbonear and the historic Baccalieu Trail region.

This historic property is a focal point for heritage and heritage tourism in the Baccalieu Trail Region. The Stone Jug is a unique experience and a destination.

The Stone Jug has been completely restored to serve as an attractive and modern venue for conferences, meetings, weddings, receptions and other events as well as a restaurant with an open concept kitchen encircled by and 85 ft. bar.
