Description
The Campbellford Santa Claus Parade takes place the last Saturday of November. Santa will be at Old Mill Park immediately following the parade. The Campbellford Santa Claus Parade is a long-standing tradition. In recent years it takes place on the last Saturday of November. Records show that the very first parade took place December 17, 1949. The parade route starts at the corner of Canrobert and Bridge St. (No Frills) goes over the Bridge to Front St., circles around Doxsee Ave back to Front St. The parade is organized by volunteers.

Here are a few reminders from Rudolph and Santa for the parade: 1. Take in the free movie "Christmas Vacation" sponsored by Aron Theatre Co-operative Inc. Begins at 1 p.m. 2. Parade starts at 3 p.m. Route includes Bridge St W. from No Frills to Front Street South, up Doxsee Avenue to Market and then back to Front Street. 3. After parade Santa will be at the Town Square (corner lot of Front and Bridge), NOT at the Gazebo this year. Thanks to Campbellford BIA for the treat bags! 4. Bring your non-perishable food bank donation for the Rotary Club of Campbellford 5. Bring un unwrapped toy for the Youth Advisory Committee and Trent Hills Fire Department Toy Drive 6. YES - THERE IS STILL TIME TO PUT IN A FLOAT! Register at www.campbellfordparade.ca 7. Floats are to be lined up on Kent Street beginning at 2 p.m. (enter from Queen Street via Church Street). 8. Be safe, have fun, and have a Merry Christmas!

An all time holiday classic at the Aron, Christmas Vacation - and it's free, compliments of the Aron Theatre Co-operative Inc. Saturday, November 26 at 1 p.m. Watch the movie, then head to the Town Square (corner lot at Bridge/Front) to watch the parade. P.S. Santa will be at the Town Square after the parade for visits and treats.
