The local students depicted in the image, who repeatedly protested inaction on climate change and called for a ban on plastic bags and straws earlier this year, are an example how one can contribute to environmental action. We want your Feedback! On June 3, 2019 the City of Campbell River launched the CR Street Eats Pilot Program, a 12-week initiative that permitted participating mobile food vendors to operate on public property within the downtown. As the program wraps up on September 1st, we invite your feedback on the pilot program by completing a short survey. All comments received will be reported (anonymously) to Council. Public input will also inform regulatory options for moving forward with a more permanent food truck regime, if deemed desirable.
