Wellness Wednesday! Did you know cheese is part of a healthy diet? Recent research shows that consuming milk products does not increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Another interesting fact: fermented milk products, such as cheese, may have a protective effect on your heart’s health. Moreover, cheese does not have an unfavourable impact on blood pressure. Cheese is also part of the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet, which is a way of eating well to help reduce the risk of hypertension. The Social Club from Winners recently "adopted" 2 Residents at the John Noble Home. Monika, Brittany, Kayla and Sofia brought in treats and enjoyed a nice visit with their new adopted Residents. We are looking forward to more visits. Thank you for thinking of us.

On our morning drive, we went and visited some of our furry friends at the Waterford Deer Park. Thank you to the Waterford District Community Foundation for the continuing operation of this park.
