facebook.comPartnership Sparks Donation Thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Brandon Firefighters Charity Fund and members of Vincent Massey High School’s Youth Revolution Group, the BRHC Foundation received a combined donation of $3,622 for the Pediatric/Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. These funds will be used to purchase three axillary thermometers - easy to use devices that are placed under the armpit to provide accurate temperature readings on newborns, premature, and unwell babies. Thank you to everyone who supported the fundraising initiatives of these groups – you are making a difference – right here in Brandon

Canadian Tire Supports Community The Foundation extends a HUGE thank you to Brandon’s Canadian Tire for their donation of $1,000 following our “Charity of the Week” opportunity. We had a presence in the store from January 8 to 14 to share the wonderful work of this Foundation, sell our current raffle tickets, and take donations. This opportunity to partner with a local business who supports local charities benefits everyone in our community.

WestJet Raffle Winner Congratulations to Mark Graceffo, lucky winner of our WestJet raffle for a flight for 2 anywhere WestJet flies, made December 21, 2017. Linda Noto, Board Chairman, is thrilled to present him with his prize. Thank you to WestJet and to everyone who supported this raffle. Proceeds will be used for the purchase of equipment in the Maternal/Child areas of the BRHC.
2017 Gala Proceeds The 2017 BRHC Foundation Gala Committee is thrilled to announce that $73,634.80 was raised at the sold out event held September 30! Equipment purchases for the Brandon Regional Health Centre will include a fetal monitor and waterless milk warmers for the Maternal/Child areas, a physiological monitor for the Dialysis Unit, and a hyper-hypothermia system for the Emergency Department. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this 27th annual fundraiser.
Winner of WestJet flight for 2 raffle
Peace by Piece Thank you to the Peace by Piece Quilt Guild for their recent donation of $2,000.13, proceeds from their 2017 “Underground Railroad” quilt raffle. The draw, performed at their annual quilt show on October 14, was then presented to (R) Karen Brown as seen in the photo with Peace by Piece member Margaret White. The Underground Railroad quilt raffle, from all reports, was considered a resounding success. Thank you to everyone who supported the raffle, and to the talented hands that created this beautiful quilt!
Tribute Tags Adorn Tree Our annual Under the Tree of Lights campaign is underway and tribute tags are placed daily on our tree in the BRHC atrium. This is a heartfelt way to remember and memorialize a loved one, or to honour someone special. Don't miss our annual Pancake Breakfast this Friday, December 1!
