Thank you to all the members who came out this weekend to support and participate in the 2017 Club Championship. Congratulations to our Men's Club winner, for his 4th time Bob Kerr and the Women's Champion Colleen O'Neil. Well done both of you! Again, thanks to all those who came out for a fun weekend of golf.

Where has summer gone!? The third junior camp of the summer came to an end yesterday. Only one more left this summer, ages 5-7 on August 21-24. Registration is already up to 11, if you haven't signed up your child now is the time. Only 3 spots left! Participation has been fantastic this summer, it is great to see. Let's hope it increases every year. It is a wonderful thing to see kids playing our course. Keep an eye out on our website and Facebook come March for dates and times for 2018 camps! Thank you to everyone who participated this summer.

Congratulations to our proshop manager, Cody White on finishing second in yesterdays Vancouver Golf Tour event at Meadow Gardens! He shot a one under 71 to tie for first and go into a playoff, but lost on the first playoff hole. Well done, and way to put Bowen Island Golf Club on the map! Keep it up.

Thank you to all the communities and people who participated in the 2017 Community Challenge yesterday. It was another great event with what may have been, the first day of summer! Congratulations to the winners, representing Bowen Bay / Bluewater. It is their 2nd year in a row taking the cake. The Puri brothers and their mom / anchor, Kathy! Way to go guys.

Congratulations to these Bowen studs on finishing second at the Big Sky Early Bird Scramble! They fired a 60 as a team to place second. Well done gentlemen.
