Sprout Farms Apple Orchards: Just 30 Minutes North of Edmonton

Set in the picturesque countryside north of Edmonton, Alberta, near Bon Accord, Sprout Farms Apple Orchards offers you a unique opportunity to visit an orchard in Alberta. We offer a Fruit Share program, Fruit sales, workshops and the opportunity to walk through our orchards.

The apple crop in Alberta can be unpredictable so we will be moving away from the u pick model of selling our fruit to a Community Shared Agriculture Fruit Share Program and to selling pre picked fruit in the fall of 2017.

We recognize that people love to come to the farm and enjoy being in our orchard, so part of the fruit share will include days that participants and their families can come to the orchard and work with us in the production of the crop or just to enjoy the farm with other likeminded people.

We will maintain a small area of our orchard as a Children’s Orchard so your children can experience the wonder of picking and eating a fresh picked apple from the tree.

This new model will allow the farm to grow and be more sustainable for us as a family as well as providing our clients with a more equitable share of the crop.
