If you have seen two of these meters around Berwick, please don't be alarmed. They are not parking meters but FRIENDSHIP METERS. The meters are located at the corner of Commercial and Union Streets (by the funeral home) and infront of the Pharmasave on Commercial Street. They are a project by our club and aproved by the Town of Berwick to raise funds for charities in our area. You are urged to deposit your extra change into the meter and we will collect it on a regular basis. Your support is greatly apprciated.

Canadian Blood Services had a great turnout for the clinic. By the end of the evening there were 120 donors that showed up, unfortunatly some had to be turned away. But, we were able to get 98 units. The Lions and the Canadian Blood Services want to thank everyone who made the effort to donate, and a special thank you to the students of Kings Central Rural School who made a special trip to get to the clinc. The next clinic in our hall will be May 30 at the same times: 1 - 3 qne 5 -8.
