Description
Roman Catholic Church St. Mary’s Parish is part of the Archdiocese of Toronto. St. Mary’s has severed the community of Barrie and Simcoe County since 1830’s, starting as a mission in Barrie. In 1855, the first St. Mary’s Church, along with a elementary school was constructed at the corner of Macdonald and Mulcaster (now the Revenue Canada building, County Court House, and a parking lot). St. Mary’s is now located at 65 Amelia Street.
St. Mary’s now serves one of the largest communities of Christian outside the GTA, which includes 6 elementary schools, two high schools, a college and local university partnerships. Everyone is welcome to participate in five weekend Masses, and daily Mass 12:10 pm (Wed at 7:00 pm)
There is a daily Eucharist Adoration 1 pm to 9 pm Monday to Friday – All are welcome to reflect, relax, or pray in the presences of the Blessed Sacrament.

We invite children to make their own decorations and bring them in for the Christmas trees in the church. You can come by Fri. Dec. 22nd after 1:00 p.m. or after 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sat. Dec. 23rd to include your decoration on the trees.
