We have been working on an updated verified version of the wind and electric manuals, including an extensive maintenance section. I am happy to report that its nearing completion; it has been quite a task given how long we have been in business and given the many improvements that have been made to the equipment over time. For existing clients, to get a copy of the new manual you must supply complete contact details as well as the serial number(s) from your circulator(s). Contact us via email: info@dagazenv.com directly or via our website www.dagazenv.com. This new manual will go out automatically with all new units.

Spring is officially here. For those in cool temperate regions, once the ice is safely from your ponds, if you have not conducted maintenance on your circulator in the past 4 years, its most definitely the time to do it before the algae begins to grow. Nip that vegetation with circulation before it gets established.

If any of you are/have been having some trouble reaching us by telephone, cell, and internet we do apologize for the inconvenience. We have seen a few challenges with respect to communication and labour availability. The extent that these issues has hindered business has been extensive and I would have seriously considered other options had I known in advance. 1. We are experiencing a qualified labour shortage which has most definitely caused significant delays in all business activities. 2. Since moving back to our facility mid 2015, we've had an unusually high quantity of spam telephone calls and emails; this would I assume be experienced throughout the province. As a result all calls are screened and most calls go to voicemail unless the caller is clearly identified on the caller display and I am available to take the call; legitimate calls are returned as soon as I am able. To have your call answered more promptly, ensure you have all of your contact information in the message, the date and time of your call clearly identified, and the reason for the call stated so that it can be properly addressed. 3. The region, although it has a fairly high population base for a farming community, has not been well served by internet and cell service providers. There is typically not a day goes by that cell service is not available and there are many days in a month that for the mainstay of the day, internet is not available or is severely hampered. We thank you for your patience and understanding while we work through these challenges.

The cold weather has most definitely crept up on us and if your circulator is requiring some maintenance, be sure to take it out of the pond/containment cell before the water/wastewater freezes so that it can be worked on and installed potentially after the ice becomes thick enough or before the ice gets established. I have already heard that the ice in southern Saskatchewan is upwards of 2" thick - a total surprise to me that was. If your circulator is a wind unit, be sure to take the turbine off the top - under no circumstances should it be left to free-wheel. If you do not have a manual that shows how to remove the circulator from your pond and how to alter the leg system on the wind units in order to tip the unit over to remove the turbine, please email us for instructions. Be sure to provide us with your serial number which is located on the centre section - the part that the mast goes through, and that the winch and legs are attached to. We are seeing a backlog due to a labour shortage however we will do our best to serve you as quickly as possible.

Our web site is back up from what my web provider told me so you can send emails either through it or to the temp. one I provided - they all work. Unfortunately I've been dealing with a bit of a family emergency ever since; and praying everything smooths out ASAP and the orders that are ready can get sent out. Thank you kindly everyone for your patience during this all - it's been greatly appreciated.

I've had a number of folks come up to me recently in our community and discuss the fact that they thought we were no longer in business - we are most definitely still in business. If you are wondering about delays since our major move back to rural Assiniboia in 2015, we've faced, and are still facing a few challenges which are as varied as our weather here and which I am happy to report we are making headway on. I am happy to report that a major piece of equipment that had been unexpectedly down and caused a significant backlog is now fully operational and the delays from it are now improving. The quality control review and update on all manuals is ongoing. The new and improved manuals, which are going out with every order now at no extra charge to you, are presently going through a complete quality control review and update to ensure accuracy and to provide you with a product to make installations and maintenance as trouble free as possible. We're also adding many new photos to help improve the visual identification of components and processes.
