Just to let you all know - Wang Li (Joyce) will travel to China on January 7 and January 6 she will likely be closing a bit early. So...... if you are looking to satisfy the craving for one of Wang Li's great dishes there are a few days remaining before she takes a break from cooking for you so she can go and see her Mom. Flutterbye Caribbean Jamaica Cuisine will be closed from December 19th through January 1st, inclusive. Flutterbye will reopen to serve you delicious Caribbean food on January 2nd. Donna is travelling to see her family in Jamaica over Christmas and we wish her a wonderful time.

Today marks the One Year Anniversary for Melanie Mountan and Piano Tea Room at Victoria Faire. Congratulations Melanie. Your enthusiasm, hard work and attention to detail are very much appreciated by all. We welcome all to come on in to Victoria Faire and Piano Tea Room, have a cup of one of Melanie's special teas and relax a bit. Today was the last day for Rita's Shawarma at Victoria Faire. Rita please know that we will miss you and your family members who have been with you at your business over the past year. Always a smile and kind words for everyone. We know that it has been a heavy load for you maintaining the kiosk at Victoria Faire and also working at your business at Goya's Restaurant in Sackville. Even though we will miss you dearly we are also happy that you have made a good decision for you and your family. To all customers who have enjoyed Rita's delicious menu items (and her smile), be assured that these are also available at Goya's Restaurant in Sackville and I have been informed that Rita will likely have a food service stand at the Amherst Farmer's Market on Fridays. The Piano Tea Room at Victoria Faire has added a special place to relax and enjoy a bit of quiet time or social time with friends savouring your choice of tea and snack. All of us a Victoria Faire are pleased with the reception this new lounge area has been given by our customers and welcome you to "come on down". We looked up from our work and there it was.....gone!! Summer that is. We are going to grab a day, Labour Day, and relax a bit, maybe go for a drive and take some of the sights in our beautiful Nova Scotia or maybe, just rest all day. But, whatever we do, Victoria Faire will be closed on Monday September 4th. and will open at usual time on Tuesday 5th.
