Trails are open year round. Museum is open Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving weekend. Entrance Fee: $6/vehicle or $3/person for bus and tour groups.  The Mill of Kintail Conservation Area, owned and operated by Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA), is a cultural, historical and environmental mecca.

Come for a day to hike the trails through the forest, river and field habitats.  Take in  the restored grist mill museum featuring the life and work of two Canadian luminaries born and raised locally in Ramsay Township - Dr. R. Tait McKenzie and Dr. James Naismith.  Enjoy the picnic areas and playground.  There's something for everyone here!

Another unique feature of the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area is the historic outdoor chapel, known as the "Cloister on the Hill" - a popular site for weddings and spiritual celebrations.

The Mill of Kintail Conservation Area is also home to the MVCA Outdoor Education Program and Wildlife Watchers Summer Day Camps.
