For more information please visit our website: http://www.creativeedgebc.com For over 25 years Creative Edge has been offering fine arts classes for in Abbotsford, BC. We are the only studio in town where families can find preschool, music, art, drama and dance classes under one roof and where students can grow from curious toddlers to confident young adults and form lifelong friendships along the way.
With over 7000 square feet of family fun - our school features a spacious lobby and parent waiting area with leather chairs, comfy couches, free WIFI, a young children's play area and lots of natural light. All studios have one-way mirrors allowing parents to observe their children. We have 8 studios including 2 dance studios, 3 music rooms, an art studio, a preschool room and a theatre. For students ages 5 and up we have “The Lounge” which features two dressing rooms, lots of cubbies and is the perfect spot to hang out, eat dinner or do homework!
Our commitment is to continue to give our students a place where they feel at home, while learning and growing in the arts. It is our goal that they will always have a better sense of self-esteem and stronger confidence, because of this commitment.

Creative Edge School of Arts presents our fourth annual Musical Theatre event for all ages! This 2-hour showcase features “Shrek the Musical JR”, “The Aristocats KIDS” and selections from “Hairspray”. The show features 60 Creative Edge Theatre and Dance students (ages 5-16) Shrek The Musical JR is based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. Everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family. The Aristocats KIDS is based on the beloved Disney animated film, and features a jazzy, upbeat score. It is a non-stop thrill ride of feline fun, complete with unbelievable twists and turns. Playing only one public performance on Friday, May 18th at the Clarke Foundation Theatre in Mission, BC. Doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 6:00. A portion of the proceeds from the performance will go to the Abbotsford Hospice Society. Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for children and can be purchased from Creative Edge School of Arts (300-3033 Immel street) or at the door. We will be closed for one week of Spring Break March 19-24. Classes will run, as usual, the second week except we will be closed for Good Friday, on the 30th. Enjoy the break everyone! 😊
It’s “Wear an Old Costume to Dance Class Week,” today through Saturday, March 17th! We can’t wait to see what you pull out of your closets to wear to dance class! Don’t have anything? We’ll be selling some costumes from our stash at the front desk (mostly smaller child sizes). Or, put together something from your own closet that you’d love to wear on stage.
Attention dance families! Next week, March 12th-17th, will be Wear an Old Costume to Class week! Now is the time to bust out those favourite costumes you may have stashed away, and wear them to class! Please remember this is ONLY for dance classes. We look forward to see you all decked out in your favourite stage-wear!

We will be closing at 2:30pm and all afternoon/evening classes are cancelled. Competitive Dancers: Chilliwack Festival has cancelled the evening Jazz/Lyrical Session and will be re-scheduling. Have a great weekend everyone!

This is for anyone intersted in registering for the Preschool Program for Fall 2018. Online registration starts Monday February 12th. This Open House is for any families who have not yet attended preschool in our facility. Parents are asked to only bring the child who is of Preschool age (no siblings except babies in car seats/carriers) Plan to drop in during the time above and limit your stay to 20-30 minutes.
