Apply Today! www.ssst.edu.ba The Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) was opened in October 2004 in Sarajevo as the first private university in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Dedicated to providing highest quality, modern and internationally competitive education, SSST has established a collaboration with the University of Buckingham (UK) and is required to meet the academic standards of the University of Buckingham and the United Kingdom. SSST graduates receive their degrees both from the SSST and the University of Buckingham.
To fulfill its mandate for excellence, SSST has developed a faculty of both foreign educated and trained Bosnians and non-Bosnians, many from the world's leading universities. The faculty is actively engaged in research within their fields assuring that they represent the "cutting edge" of both research and innovative teaching methodology.
Although started as a Science and Technology school emphasizing Computer Science and Information Systems, SSST has now attained university status and is in the process of adding Majors in Political Science/International Relations and Economics to its growing course offerings. The total SSST curricula seeks to transfer not only technical academic skills but build confident and worldly graduates prepared for the competitive international environment. To this end, students and faculty at SSST are encouraged to broaden their university experience by exposure to the arts and culture of Bosnia-Herzegovina and its neighbors, get to know their growing number of non-Bosnian class-mates and Professors, and take advantage of the linkages being developed with neighboring countries, the U.S., the U.K., Turkey, Ireland, Malaysia and elsewhere.

A cooperation agreement signed between Sarajevo Medical School of the University SSST and General Hospital Tešanj. From the first year of their studies, students of SSST's Medical School are given the opportunity to have practical training. Students attend practical classes as early as second semester in the Emergency Medical Assistance Center of Sarajevo Canton as well as in many community health centers. In order to provide summer practice for our students, especially for those who are not from Sarajevo, SSST management puts focus on establishing cooperation with all the major clinics in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tešanj General Hospital being one of them. During our official visit yesterday, we formalized cooperation agreement between this important institution and SSST's Sarajevo Medical School. University SSST Chancellor, academic Ejup Ganić and director of the General Hospital Tešanj, doc.dr.med.sci. Hasan Škiljo signed an official agreement, providing thus to all SSST Medical school students an opportunity to learn from the best experts at the General Hospital Tešanj. The meeting was attended by the Dean of Sarajevo Medical School, professor Semira Galijašević and professor Besim Prnjavorac who is a SSST professor and also the Head of Tešanj General Hospital Pulmonology Department. We are honored to start partnership with a hospital that boasts top medical experts who achieve remarkable results and innovations in medicine in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Amar Balihodzic is one of the best fourth-year students at the SSST Medical Faculty. This hard working and dedicated student has been given the opportunity to intern for two and a half months at the Institute St. Ann Children's Cancer Research in Vienna. Mirza Ibrišimović, professor at the Sarajevo Medical School, SSST, worked as a PhD student at this renowned institute. Having gained a good reputation there, Dr. Ibrisimovic is now in position to recommend Amar for the internship position, where he will acquire very important experience for his future career. In the academic year 2018/19, the SSST starts with three new program studies: Pharmacy, Dentistry and Health Studies. The 15 best candidates who successfully pass the entrance exam have the opportunity to win a scholarship of 50%. Students of the 2nd year of the Medical Faculty of the SSST University, had the opportunity to attend a 3D lecture on Neuroscience at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, where also their practical lessons are organized. We gratefully acknowledge the professor’s high-quality lecture and innovative teaching methods.

Dr. Semira Galijasevic, dean of Sarajevo Medical School as a co-opt member of executive committee attended the meeting of Association of medical schools of Europe, in Berlin where a number of issues in regards to Medical Education a d quality control were discussed. SSST as a only Medical School from Bosnia was presented there. During a meeting it was agreed to launch an important pilot project for AMSE member faculties in cooperation with the German accreditation agency ASIIN (listed both in ENQA and EQAR and internationally operating in more than 30 countries). In this pilot project phase, a limited number of AMSE member faculties will have the opportunity to apply for an AMSE accreditation and its newly introduced quality label for medical education. In addition members of committee will have a chance to participate in this process as experts. Upon successful accreditation, this accreditation will confirm that your study programs not only comply with the ESG Guidelines (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area) but also with the WFME Standard (World Federation of Medical Education, Standard for Basic Undergraduate Medical Education).

Nakon intuitivnog objašnjenja metoda za analizu diskretnih (Probit/Logit modeli) i panel (Panel modeli) serija podataka, radionica se izvodi u računarskoj sali gdje će svaki polaznik analizirati podatke u profesionalnom programu za ekonometrijsku analizu Eviews. Nakon radionice, svaki korisnik će biti osposobljen da samostalno procijeni probit/logit i panel modele kao i da interpretira rezultate.
