We had a reception in the foyer, a ceremony with approximately 80 guests upstairs, a full sit down dinner in the downstairs dining rooms and a dance floor with a DJ into the early hours again in the foyer. The castle has multiple rooms, and the young children could spend time with a baby sitter upstairs. The grounds are gorgeous and were viewable from the dining room and elsewhere as they were lit up after dark. The castle has a venerable and distinguished atmosphere, just what the newlyweds were seeking. There were many photo opportunities, especially outside before dark and also as they came down the grand stair case after the ceremony. Staff were able to accommodate many needs, including live music during the ceremony, a DJ for later in the evening, a slide show depicting the bride and groom as they grew up, a magical moment for the cake cutting ceremony, and various diets including vegetarian and gluten free.
