How can we restore a sense of order? Zoë Jacobs proposes to clean up the mess the same way we do at home: put our stuff in a closet or cabinet. As the chaos in town is mostly created by people, she designed a ‘Human Cabinet’. This public piece of furniture is the perfect storage place for ourselves. The comforting form offers a safe shelter from the buzz all around. At the same time it creates visual tranquility for everyone else out there.
