The Klein Karoo International Ostrich Meat TEAM at Anuga 2017

ANUGA is coming up next month, so time to dust off our facebook page :) ... Our team will be from 7 till 11 October in Cologne. You are welcome to visit us at the South Africa pavillon in Hall 9.1 Stand B070. It is a good moment to update you on the latest developments with regards to the highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreak in South Africa; and our resulting focus on the further development of our pregrilled ostrich range of products. Furthermore, we hope to be able to update you on the EU's audit which took place beginning September, aimed at evaluating if South Africa can resume antelope meat exports. Joining us in Cologne will be: Len Droomer, Ries Dempsey ; Christo du Plessis; Nicolas Deswaef and our inspiring & dynamic Chef Gerbrandt van Deventer.

SIRHA 2017, impressions from day 1, Saturday 21 January

Counting down to our next show in Lyon, France, worldwide capital of Gastronomy... This is our 3rd time at Sirha. Our team will consist of Ries Dempsey, Christo du Plessis, Gerbie van Deventer (Chef) and Nicolas Deswaef.

Klein Karoo Europe wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy 2017! 2016 saw our team expanding with Patricia and Christo and it was great to close off the year by participating at the Warmathon charity run for Studio Brussel charity "Music for Life". Despite the passing away of Patricia's mother in law this week she attended with her husband Johan and their 2 kids, Laura and Rune. Christo moved to Belgium with his wife Anzel and youngest son John in October and their oldest son Michael joined from Stellenbosch for the Christmas holidays. Gilène was joined by her daughter Amy and boyfriend Wouter.

Our team at Klein Karoo Europe welcomes the winter cold and warms up for Christmas by participating at a charity run (or walk) in Leuven on Thursday 22 December ... Pictures to follow!
