Rafting Saison ist hier! Auf gehts mit Sport Camp Tirol!

Just some video of the work in progress on the Sanna. The local government has made a huge effort to dig out the two landslides of last September. A big compliment has to be given to the people in charge of the reconstruction for contacting all interested parties. And investing the money to get it right. The river below Pians will be completely different and very interesting this year. All of the mid to large sized stones have been left in the river to provide structure and features. We have tried to ensure a channel of deeper water for safe, unobstructed passage at low water levels for kayaks and rafts. The work is ongoing but should be completed somewhere by the end of April / begining of May and is supervised from a watersports point of view daily. For those of you interested we are limited in what we can do. For instance we cannot block the river to form a play wave or specific feature. Andy, Sport Camp Tirol, Tiroler Rafting Verband.
