Altar Your Thinking - Kristie Poole, Civil Marriage Celebrant.
Description
Encouraging and supporting madly in love couples in their quest for a Wedding Ceremony that is as unique as they are. I am a Civil Marriage Celebrant who is excited by creating modern, contemporary ceremonies that reflect the way people think and feel about marriage in today's society.
I get a kick out of learning about new corners of culture and the diverse manner in which couples want to celebrate it. I'm a sucker for brides and grooms who express themselves through fashion, art and humour and I am a great lover of exciting wedding photography. Plus, I genuinely enjoy supporting smart couples as they attempt to think outside the box and challenge the huge cultural expectations that come with weddings and marriage.
As a Vocailst with over 10 years experience performing at countless Wedding Ceremonies and Corporate Events, I understand first hand that no other single element of your ceremony has the power to move your guests and engage the emotions of all in attendance the way music does.
I love encouraging couples to strive for the ceremony that reflects them, and their relationship.
LEGAL BITS
The legal age to be married in Australia is 18 years.
By law, a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be completed and lodged with me at least one clear calendar month prior to your wedding date.
Both the bride and groom will need to produce original copies of their Birth Certificates plus a photocopy for my records. If you were born outside Australia and cannot locate your birth certificate, you may be able to use an overseas passport showing date and place of birth or a Statutory Declaration.
If the bride or groom has been married before, a Decree Absolute or a Death Certificate (if the previous spouse has passed away) must be produced.
If either party has changed their name by deed poll, the official Change of Name document must be produced.
All documents need to be in English or have an official English translation attached.
All certificates MUST be originals, extracts or certified copies. Photocopies are not acceptable.
If you cannot lodge the NOIM with me in person, you will need to complete it in front of a Prescribed Authority and send it to me with the photocopies of the documentation mentioned above so I can verify all the paperwork has been filled in correctly.
Prior to the ceremony both bride and groom will have to sign a Declaration of Marriage to confirm there is no legal reason why the marriage cannot take place.
By law, two witnesses, who are over the age of 18, are required to attend the wedding and sign the Marriage Certificate.

Amy & Adam - Ravensthorpe
Ben Sowry Photo, as always, did a pretty schmick job of capturing the moments, details and love of Amy and Adam's day. Grace Loves Lace, Makeup by Megan Vaughan, Owl & Pussycat Events, Willow Hair Spa were all on board sprinkling their magic dust to make this day incredible. As always, Ravensthorpe was spectacular <3

I've not yet started to pen my thanks to our beautiful suppliers for making our day so special on Sunday but I had to share with you By George Creative Styling and Events post. Janelle is an angel and quite simply made all of the decisions herself with pretty much no direction from me, because let's face it, I'm no stylist! Check out the amazing job she did and of course the freaking DONUT WALL. It's a WALL OF DONUTS!!!

So my Mum bought me a feather brow tattoo voucher which I'm having done TOMORROW!!! I apologise in advance to my couples at this coming weekends weddings as apparently my brows may or may not be a little 'Maninga-ish' until they fade over the next two weeks or so. Can anyone tell me if this is going to hurt really terribly and also, can I REALLY not work out for a whole week?!
