Wishart parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Wishart Event #141 Thanks to everyone who made it along to Wishart Event #141 today. On an overcast morning we had 194 friends join us on the beautiful Wishart course. Today we welcomed 22 first timers. I hope everyone felt at home, warmly welcomed, and enjoyed meeting new people and making the most of our lovely course. It was also personal best (PB) heaven today with 45 PBs - almost a quarter of all runners! The PBs included Reece Anderson who was first across the line (18:27) as well as Erin Hurley who was our first lady - also with a PB (23:09). Thanks go to this mornings' volunteers, without whom we literally wouldn't have all run. Today thanks go to Daniel, Elizabeth, Karen, Janine, David, Luba, Kathy, Helen, Joel & Lisa. There are still plenty of June volunteer slots for both Wishart and also Mansfield parkruns. Today we also unveiled April's Wishart parkrunner of the month as Rob Trims who ran every event in April, with multiple PBs, and also taking time to volunteer. Look out for Mansfield QLD parkrun which has its launch on 17th June. Happy running until next week. Martin & Lisa
