And just like that, Christmas was over and a New Year was about to start! We have spent our Christmas break relaxing and enjoying loads of time with our families, soaking up the glimpses of sunshine. Dignity is in the bag

We are so incredibly proud to have been able to support Share the Dignity's #itsinthebag campaign. Over 300 incredible bags that were generously donated by the Williamstown & surrounds residents and dropped off to our office. As a mortgage broker I get to share in the great Australian dream of our clients, it is such a wonderful job and I never take it for granted. We are in the business of putting a roof over our client's heads. So when we heard about this initiative, that will bring a bit of light to women who are experiencing serious hardship, homelessness or domestic abuse, we opened our doors as a collection point and have been completely overwhelmed by the support. A big thank you to everyone who donated. A big thank you to the team at Greg Hocking Elly Partners downstairs, who were there to accept donations at times when we were out at appointments. And a big thank you to Share the Dignity who collected over 30,000 bags and for allowing our little office to be a part of something really special.

Having our own business has meant that we have been up past midnight a few nights this week. That our days are often 15 hours long and more. On one day this week I had appointments in Doncaster, Williamstown and Vermont. It's a tough gig. But this morning, I got to take this little guy to his grade prep orientation. We work hard, but it also means that we get to call the shots. Proud dad moment.

Accession Finance is so excited to be a registered drop off location for #itsinthebag at our office in Williamstown. As a mortgage broker we get to share in all of the joy and excitement of buying a new home. It's such a wonderful job. This year we wanted to get involved to make a small difference in the lives of women who have had to leave their homes or are facing hardship.
