"Totally unexpected. Did not expect such a great experience as B & B's normally not my thing so stayed here as a second choice, however very pleased I did. Room was exceptional / beautifully decorated, everything was top quality. The location is great, and the attention to detail was better than 5 star."

"Great Place, fantastic staff" I have stayed at the Captain's Retreat many times over the years but I was there for two weeks in December and two weeks in January this time. I can't tell you how grateful I am to Melissa for all of their help and support during a particularly difficult time for me.
The rooms as always were fantastic and Melissa's special breakfasts are particularly delicious.
