facebook.comI’m writing this post with the regrettable news that for the majority of clients Humble B cleaning service will cease trading as of today (19/07/2016). Commercial clients have the option to continue to receive services in accordance to prior agreements until they have managed to secure a replacement cleaning service. If you have a gift voucher, please get in touch by email at ‘’contact@humbleb.com.au’’ to discuss your options. Thankfully the team have been amazing, and for existing clients who would like to contact any of the team to arrange cleaning under a private agreement, please feel free to get in touch with me for more details. Emily, Rebekah, Ashlea, Teisha, and Julia, thank you for all your support! You gave it your all and we couldn’t have come this far without you. It’s been quite a journey, paved with the support of friends, family, and the community. This decision has come as a result of financial difficulties. How green is vinegar? This fantastic and informative blog post by Accidental Greenie has all the answers! In short though, if its sold as food grade vinegar, its probably pretty green. If it is to be sold as food, any vinegar from a petroleum source has to be labelled as 'imitation vinegar'.......good to know :)

Here we are at Maitland Taste Festival giving a talk on sustainability and how we all have the power to make a change. How? Worm farming and composting, reducing plastic by shopping around for alternatives, buy organic or better yet biodynamic. It's doesn't have to all happen at once (though that would be nice). One less plastic item in the trolley and swapping to one organic grocery item will still have an impact 😊 we are powerful, every one of us 😊 local action, global change!
