Tips Tuesday! When your machine has jammed up the golden rule is - Don't Force Your Machine. Forcing the machine doesn’t solve the problem—it makes it worse. Sewing machines function on precision. If something is off, it needs to be addressed before you keep going. If not, you run the risk of ruining your project, breaking needles, and damaging your machine - not to mention increasing your frustration levels. So take a deep breath and give us a call on 0428 328 078. Happy sewing !

Tips Tuesday!!! Always use the right machine for the right job. We are often asked by clients who wish to purchase an industrial sewing machine "Is this machine a good machine". Our response is always the same. "It depends on what you want to use it for". Just because a machine is an 'industrial machine' does not mean that it can sew everything that you would like to throw at it! If you have questions about the suitability of the machine you have or the one you would like to purchase we can advise you if it is appropriate for your intended use. We can also supply the accessories including bobbins, thread and needles that are appropriate for the job. Give us a call on 0428328078 we are more than happy to help,

Tips Tuesday! Avoid sewing over pins. This could cause your needle to break, bend your pins, cause jam ups and potentially be a safety issue if the needle flies out at you.

Tips Tuesday! Before you get busy sewing, always inspect the cord of your sewing machine to make sure it’s in good condition. Do you see any fraying? Are there any nicks or cuts in the cable? Are the prongs loose or bent? If the answer to any of those questions is “yes,” then you may need a new cord. To keep your cord in good condition, make sure it stays straight and untangled. Don’t sit anything on top of it, and make sure it isn’t in an area where it might be stepped on. If you are concerned about your cord or would like us to inspect it please do not hesitate to give us a call on 0428 328 078.
