I have finally finished the coffee table for the waiting room. This took forever but I think the result speaks for itself. You can't buy stuff like this. It is made out of claret ash that used to be in he car park but died a few years ago. This is the result of slabbing the trunk, seasoning the timber and then making it. Very satisfying to do the whole process from removing a tree (that was dying) and recycling it completely. Timber amazes me.
