🔵⚪⚫ Kicked off the latest 12 Week Challenge by throwing myself in the deep end. 🏃🏼 Day 1 = 14km Run. 😎💪👊 Haven't ran in weeks and last time I completed this distance was City 2 Surf 2 years ago. Genuinely wanted to quit the entire way or at least cut short, but was determined to meet the distance I set myself. I expect my clients best efforts, and I expect even more from myself. 🔵⚪⚫▶ Kettlebell work while it's pouring on this gloomy day in Sydney. 😭 Summer is well and truly gone already. 👋🌞🌧☔️ Had to speed the video up x2 to get this whole flow in there. This was extremely challenging! Had my heart rate well over 90% the whole time, and the end of each set that I did it hit 99%! 👊🔥🔥 20kg Single Kettlebell Flow: Bridge Press ➡️ Turkish Get Up ➡️ Half-kneeling Clean & Press ➡️ Swing ➡️ High Pull ➡️ Snatch ➡️ Lunge Snatch ➡️ Squat Press ➡️ then swing, snatch and get back down on opposite side to start again. Team Transform got RIDICULOUS at ROC Race Australia Sydney February 2017! Thanks so much for everyone coming along and having a great laugh today. Definitely need to do more of these as a group! It was a great day with a wonderful bunch of people, and shout out to the individuals who had to conquer some fears on those high obstacles. Well done everyone! It was definitely more fun having such a big group for this, what a fantastic turn out. I will have to get searching for the next one ;) PS thanks for running some of the 5kms! haha

🔵⚪️⚫️ This was my 6th run 🏃🏼 since the start of the year and by far the hardest, despite it not being the furthest or fastest. 33 degrees isn't a recommended running temperature, just throwing that out there lol. 😓 Not fitness nor competitiveness pushed me to finish this run. I wanted to quit from the 3rd km onwards. It was disgustingly hot and it felt like the whole run was uphill. The only thing that kept me going was the sheer NEED to finish, that not even walking or stopping somewhere could have satisfied. I just needed it to be over, and I used that to keep going! A lot of people quit because it's the easiest thing to do, especially if there are no repercussions. But ultimately you always lose. How far does quitting get you? Learn to deal with the Shit. Push yourself out of those dark mental holes and jump out of that comfort zone. I could have went to an air conditioned gym and did a light session. instead I ran in the heat and burned 830Kcal in under an hour. 🔵⚪️⚫️ *** RAPID RESULTS IN JUST 4 DAYS!!! *** Try my new (insert bullshit detox drink) along with my (4 day worthless workout) program and get “toned” FAST!❌🚫 There is so much shit in the fitness industry it’s hard for the average Joe to filter through it and know what’s genuine. Everyone is trying to make a quick dollar or 100 out of you by preying on your insecurities and lack of knowledge on what’s good for your body for sustainable results. ❓❓ There’s simply no substitute for hard work, discipline, consistency and living a healthy lifestyle. 👌💪The left photo is no exaggeration, I’m not pushing my gut out, I was THAT bloated from over-indulging on the last 2 nights in Surfers. I trained every single day while I was away, and we even made a lot of our own meals, but still, a week of having doughnuts, pizza, pasta, ribs, chips, burgers, chicken wings and alcohol resulted in me spending the last night of my holiday, close to throwing up. Photo on the right is after 4 days of being back to reality, and immediately after a 10km run this morning. 🏃👍☀️No it’s not a result of dieting or starving myself. Eating healthy is NORMAL to me. Make it a part of your life. While I enjoyed all of the food over the week, I felt shit, and ultimately Its not worth feeling bloated and sluggish all day. Reduce the indulgences to weekly and not DAILY. Your body will thank you for it and you’ll achieve a lot greater sustainable results, while still occasionally enjoying the things you love.
