Hervey Bay parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Hervey Bay, QLD, Australia.
Hervey Bay parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Firstly it is not a measured run and secondly it is dangerous and we cannot accept responsibility for you if you choose to do so. If you want to run on the road you cannot cross the finish line. If you do your name will be removed from the results table. This is purely from parkrun Australia for insurances and safety purposes as you are not running on the allocated and permitted course. Parkrun February 4
Another hot and sweaty one! Well done everybody!
Wow! You've outdone yourselves, Hervey Bay. Today was a record participation of 312, with 31 first time parkrunners and 51 PBs. We were happy to welcome 8 visitors from Manchester, UK; Gladstone; Rockhampton; Kirra; Highfields; Maryborough and hope that you enjoyed your time with us. Thanks again to all our cheerful volunteers. The results are up and photos will follow a little later.
