Over the last week all players have participated in Lateral Jump Week (Yr 4 record holder Caitlin Millar demonstrating). Great test of fitness and agility. We'll see if the following records can be broken in Week 8 of term. Thanks to Ron, Jack and the team at Top Serve for hosting a fabulous morning yesterday at the Coaches Workshop. I presented a little something on the Sony Smart Tennis Sensor which will be in use for Squad players starting this week. Also looking forward to a few players trying out the Sweet Area Racquet - a smaller racquet head that demands better footwork and a still head

Junior Tennis classes started yesterday. Most common answer to my question "Who's looking forward to going back to school?"..............."Mum".
That's a disgrace Bernard Tomic. The ATP needs to have (yet another) long hard look at that quarter final as best efforts were not given. He even discussed as much with yhe umpire for crying out loud. Disgraceful attitude and yet another shocking look for Australian tennis.

Put Boris the Ball Machine up one end and 8yo Emi up the other attached to a bungy which is attached to the back fence.....Gooooo Ems!!! Work those legs!!!
OK so I'll never be a fan of the delayed grunt (or any grunt), but loving the speed of play between Kyrgios and Dolgopolov........neither of them having a full towel-down after every point!!!
