National Simultaneous Storytime
We'll be joining hundreds of schools, libraries and bookshops around Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime. The book chosen this year is "The Cow Tripped over the Moon" by Tony Wilson and Laura Wood. All pre-school aged children are welcome to come along for the reading. Milk and a cookie will also be available for $3.50.
Book Signing with Erja Scott
Erja (Erica) Scott is a local author. Her book, "Chase the Dog," is a fast moving thriller spiced with humour and romance. Greedy killer, Lee, has an immaculate appearance and obsession with shoes; Nancy is a super granny - not scared of shooting the bad guys, and the dog is carrying a world changing culture. Come along and meet Erja and maybe pick up a personally signed copy of her book.
Coffee, Tea, Philosphy
This will be our first Coffee Tea Philosophy gathering in our new shop, so we thought it might be a good idea to go back to the basics: WHAT IS PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT? AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? You don't need any academic qualifications to join the group - just a willingness to listen to others, share your ideas and have an open mind. There's no charge for the group. Just grab something to eat or drink from our cafe and join in. Our new "Philosophers' Table" is near the back of the shop. If you'd like any more information, speak to Cate in the bookshop or email herveybay@maryryan.com.au

We're having great difficulty getting our old telephone number transferred across to the new shop. We apologise to anyone who has been trying to contact us and we share your frustration. Our shop mobile number is 0413 027 515 and we know this is definitely working.
