The Milne Bay and Highfields Aquatic and Fitness centres have a range of activities and classes available in the pool and at the gym. The Milne Bay Aquatic and Fitness centre and the Highfields Fitness and Recreation centre have a range of activities and classes available in the pool and at the gym.
Casual entry, visit passes and memberships are available for group fitness and aqua classes, gym and pool access.
Facilities host Waves Learn to Swim School, fun school holiday activities, children’s birthday parties and movie nights that run throughout the year.
Milne Bay’s 25m indoor pool turns into an exciting wave pool from 12-4pm on the weekends and during the week on school holidays. The heated 50m outdoor pool is ideal for lap swimming.
Highfields offers a beautiful spacious outdoor grassed area supplied with BBQ’s and children’s playground to suit any gathering. Indoors boosts a traverse rock climbing wall and a two court sports stadium where families can hire equipment and create their own games.
Both facilities provide heated recreation and lap pools, tot’s pools, water slides, and lifeguards on patrol, crèche, pro shop, onsite parking and kiosk.
We participates in the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia’s KEEP WATCH program - remember your children are your responsibility.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over or by the legal parent or guardian of the child, at all times during their stay in the aquatic area.
