The Craigie Brothers are now bringing their Mama Estrella’s famous Filipino-inspired Grilled Chicken Awesomeness to the table - come get some!!! Mama Estrella’s words:
“Lola's was created as a tribute to my mother (Lola means Grandmother in Tagalog). My sons’ memories of my mother's little eatery in Manila whilst they were growing is ingrained in their memory. It was always at the back of their mind to one day have a Filipino eatery business”.
Why Grilled Chicken?
"In just about every part of the Philippines you visit nowadays, one of the most popular street foods is Grilled chicken or Chicken Inasal, which was popularised in Bacolod, Iloilo and of course the iconic restaurant, The Aristocrat's, own Chicken Bbq. Filipinos loves this type of street food as well as the happy atmosphere the grill brings to customers. Lola's will bring some of that atmosphere and give its customers a taste of Filipino food with a few modern twists introduced by Alasdair.

We want to support and get behind good causes at Lola's. This is Abigail, she is a customer and also a contestant in The Face of WA and is fundraising for the Clean Water Project in Agusan Del Sur, Philippines. To support her this Friday the 22nd of December from 5-9pm we are giving away a free ice tea (normally $3.5) for every $2 raffle ticket purchased at the store.
