Ride the Jayco Herald Sun Tour Course

On February 3rd Life Cycle 55+ will be hosting 'The Falls Descent ' ride as part of the 2nd stage of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour. It’s a spectacular descent starting from the Falls Creek Resort and passing through the Bogong High Plains, which are part of the Victorian Alps of the Great Dividing Range and majestic Kiewa Valley. Once you have descended into Mt. Beauty we will provide a brunch before we see the athletes come past and we continue riding before being shuttled back to Falls Creek where we will enjoy a meal. On February 4th it's time for 'Mitchelton Winery' ride. This will consist of a 32 km circuit of the beautiful Nagambie area. We will finish in time to watch the riders at the finish line and enjoy some local hospitality. On February 5th 'Kinglake Ramble' is a FREE option for those who don’t want to go too far away from Melbourne. The last stage of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour will be held in Kinglake and everyone will be able to enjoy the gorgeous, yet challenging circuit, the pro's will race on. The ride should be back prior to the start so all can enjoy the festivities on offer. We look forward to you joining us on these unique opportunities that only Life Cycle 55+ can offer!

Fueling your bodies

When we go for a ride we burn energy and deplete our bodies of necessary fuel stores. This especially holds true on strenuous / enduring rides and certainly if we have had a busy riding schedule, then our intake of food will probably need to be comprised of more than the standard three square meals a day. #LifeCycle55 #FuelYourBody
