Shire Gateway Uniting Church - Sylvania.
A church for everyone.
Located on the corner of Yeran St and the Princes Highway, Sylvania. We are a Christian community located at the very gateway to the Sutherland Shire in beautiful Sylvania. Our church building, the "Church on the Hill" has become a landmark in the Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas and is one of the first things a person sees when crossing Tom Ugly's Bridge.
This uniquely designed and historic church (the oldest part of the building dates back to the turn of last century) is available for hire for weddings, baptisms and funerals. Send us a message via the contact page for more information.
We are located on the corner of the Princes Highway and Yeran st Sylvania and can be contacted by phone on 0413-915-553.
Everyone is welcome so come and join us for worship and praise and in declaring the good news of Jesus Christ.
Regular Sunday service times are as follows.
Morning service: 10:00 am
Evening service: 6:30 pm.
We also have a God's Squad Christian Motorcycle Club hosted bible study on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm and invite anyone who would like to come along to do so.

Christmas Eve Service
Come all Ye faithful Saturday night, Christmas Eve, as we worship together and bring in Christmas together. 11:30pm Cnr Princes Highway and Yeran Street, Sylvania
Hi everyone. Our Christmas service times have been finalised. The Christmas eve service will start at 11:30 pm and the Christmas Day service will start at 8:30 am. Please note that the 8:30 Christmas Day service will replace the 10:00 service so there will still need only one service that Sunday. Hope to see everyone there.
Hi folks. An update to our service times: We will be having a single service every Sunday at 10:00 instead of the two services previously. This will be effective from Sunday September 4th 2016. Don't forget we also host the First People's church service twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 5:30 pm.
