Kelly Davis and Bec McDonald represented CFA (Country Fire Authority) at National Reconciliation Week celebrations in Swan Hill today. Today's gathering of community was held to commemorate the anniversaries of the 1967 referendum recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australian law, and the 1992 Mabo High Court decision, which recognised that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have a special relationship to the land. #cfavic #NRW2017

The new Government website for Fire Services in Victoria - www.fireservices.vic.gov.au A hotline has been set up for any questions or concerns CFA members may have regarding the recent announcement - 1300 339 558. CFA has a range of support services and resources available to help members manage their mental health and deal with difficulties when they arise, these are: • Peer Support Program - 0417 052 248 • Member Assistance Program – 1300 795 711 • Chaplaincy Program – 1800 337 068 • Wellbeing– - 9262 8409 / wellbeing.intake@cfa.vic.gov.au • HeadsUP online toolkit - – www.cfa.vic.gov.au/headsup These services are confidential, free of charge and available to all CFA members and their immediate families
