2016 Arabian Gala has been a relaxing fun show. Khalid Arabians took 2 horses - our newest edition Gold Dust of Allyndah for her show debut ... A little shell shocked at the indoor arena - she won her class and went on to Champion of Champions Half Arabian -thanks to Shatana Arabians for sponsoring the class the garland is lovely. Kharinyah's Glimma n Gold continues to clock saddle hours - 1st Bridle Path Hack 14-15hh derivative; 2nd 14hh-15hh derivative hunter ; 3rd in Open derivative 14-15 hh adult rider ; 4th open derivative 14-15 hh and 1st half Arabian senior horse. Such a sad day for us at Khalid Arabians one of our beautiful foals Charlie broke his leg running around the paddock and had to be put down. His life was very short but will remain in our hearts forever

The Australian Arabian National Titles for 2016 are over.. we are all home safe and sound. The Khalid Arabian Team performed extremely well and we are very proud of them. It is now time for the team to stand down for a well earned break while we prepare the weanlings and yearlings for the rest of the show season.. very excited to see what unfolds. So the results are Kharinyah's Glimma n Gold - National Champion Half Arabian Under Saddle ... Top 10 Derivative Dressage (8th) Prelim 2.1 Top 10 Derivative Bridle Path Hack Top 10 (3rd) Half Arabian Halter Roseglen Crown Royale National Champion Part bred Junior Colt... Fame was the highest scoring derivative of the show ... Sharjah WPI Top 10 junior Purebred gelding... Shar was the highest scoring 2yo gelding Chelleason Al Sultan Top 10 junior Purebred Colt Can honestly say we are excited about next year and what our maturing team will bring to the Australian Championships. Thanks to Michelle Thomas for halter showing and training, Alex Strange for riding Angel, Annika for all your help in preparing Angel and to Kerry Frame for her wonderful photography sponsorship. What is really exciting is that my youngest son Aiden and his beautiful girlfriend Bek supported us throughout the show and are now interested in learning to prepare and show the horses... looks like we are gathering a great little team together....
