Good news! AMBER ALERT CANCELLED; Police have located the new born baby girl who was reported missing from the Gold Coast University Hospital at Parkwood this afternoon (Friday December 23). The baby was located safe and well in Tweed Heads a short time ago. Police thank the public for their assistance.

Update @ 10.57PM; The new born baby girl who was reported missing from the Gold Coast University Hospital this afternoon (Friday December 23) was located safe and well by Police in Tweed Heads a short time ago. Police thank the public for their assistance. #BREAKING AMBER ALERT UPDATE: The Queensland Police Service continues to seek urgent public assistance to help locate a newborn baby girl missing from the Gold Coast University Hospital. The baby, who was taken from the hospital around 3.30pm, is believed to be in the company of a man, a woman and a young girl. Police have released images of the missing four, taken from CCTV footage at the hospital and on a bus. The four were last seen at an address on Waikiki Avenue in Palm Beach, however they may now be travelling towards Banora Point in a grey or silver Kia Carnival vehicle, similar to the one pictured below. Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of the four to contact them on 131 564. Please ring 000 for life threatening information about this incident. • The 45-year-old man is described as Caucasian in appearance with a shaved head, beard and was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt and black board shorts and carrying a multi-coloured bag with black strap, a brown leather bag and a black bag • The 30-year-old woman is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 170cm tall with brown wavy hair and was last seen wearing a white shirt and black skirt. • The girl, who police now say is possibly aged 12-14 -years-old, is described as having brown shoulder-length hair and was last seen wearing a blue jumpsuit with white stripes and white sandals.
